As a part of our series about “Five Things You Need To Know To Succeed In The Modern Beauty Industry”, I had the pleasure of interviewing Vanessa Faddoul.
Vanessa Faddoul is a woman of Puerto Rican descent who immigrated to NYC at the age of 11. She studied at Fordham University and graduated CUNY School of Law. She practiced immigration law for several years before deciding to become a full-time mother to her 2 children. Vanessa became a yoga practitioner later in life and received certifications in yoga over the last few years. Her passion today is ashtanga yoga and she personally practices and studies with world renowned instructor/teacher Kino MacGregor. She founded Ahimsa Haircare to adhere to the philosophy of doing no harm.
